About Us
The purchase of 30 Cardio-Pad kits for the year 2020 by the Ministry of Defense of Cameroon demonstrates the government's commitment to the health and well-being of members of the armed forces. The major challenge consisted of the creation of new electrocardiogram recording centers in military hospitals in Cameroon. These centers will play a vital role in the early detection, surveillance and monitoring of cardiovascular diseases among members of the armed forces. By providing quality cardiac diagnostic services, the EKG recording centers will help improve the overall health of military personnel and their families.
They will also make it possible to quickly detect possible heart problems in soldiers and take appropriate measures to ensure their well-being and fitness for duty. In addition, these electrocardiogram recording centers in military hospitals in Cameroon will also be able to play an important role in the collection of epidemiological data and research on cardiovascular diseases specific to military personnel. The military personnel were able to benefit from careful training in carrying out ECGs thanks to the use of the Cardio-Pad, then followed the handover of the equipment in the presence of the Director of Military Health, retired Colonel ABENG MBOZO’O.
